- We accept original characters, and characters from cartoons, animes, movies, tv shows, etc; however, we rather you not be a character from anything that has actors (aka 'real life' people playing other people).
- Don't be rude, treat others nicely, no godmodding, and everything else obvious.
- We have a word count of 200, but a Mini Thread board without a word count for the occasional break.
- Each character needs its own account. You may have up to six.
- We use human play-bys only; no anime or cartoons should be any kind of avatar. You may use your signature for drawn images or say the character in the Custom section on your profile.
- No advertising anywhere but in the correct board.
CHARACTERS
- Do not use cosplays as your play-by. Find a celebrity who at least somewhat resembles your character (or is just a good fit in general) if you choose to be someone from any kind of cartoon.
- Characters from certain animated movies will be limited as needed; we don't want the site to turn into a Disney Personified roleplay. There's nothing wrong with them, but we want diversity.
- Keep the character's personality. Don't join as Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls and have her be a total airhead who hates learning. Character development happens and a person slowly changing is natural, but blatantly changing who a character is for no reason at all "just because" is not accepted.
- When one is brought to the island, all superpowers and abilities (if they have any, of course) are null due to the force enveloping the island. This includes both supernatural and magical. The idea is that characters from different universes were taken from the place they know and thrown here. If the one you play was already 'normal', there's less to deal with. If they weren't however, they have some adjusting to do.
- Age can be modified within reason. If a character is said to be ancient, they need to be assigned a human age and appearance correlating with that. If a character is very young, you're allowed to bump up their age a little (ask first) so they can better mingle with the rest of the characters here.
- Remember we are still a serious roleplay. Characters will have problems, they will change, and if you take on a flat character (aka a random side character who isn't already given much of a personality in their movie/show/book), you are expected to make them more 'human'.
- Identical twins are not allowed unless in whatever series or movie they are from, the characters are already canon-ly twins. First come, first serve when it comes to play-bys. There is the rare exception to this rule.
- As always, no random play-by you found on Tumblr. Face claims must be known or at least easily searchable by Google (meaning they are like the only person who shows up in the results).
POSTING
- Be sure to post on the correct account. If you accidentally mess up just copy the text, delete it, and then post it on the right account. No big deal. Just actually fix it, please.
- If three or more people are posting, we suggest working out an order so that someone doesn't end up left out with the others posting without waiting. Not only is it rude but inconsiderate.
- Don't stretch the boards with any coding or images.
ETCETERA
- Regarding language, that is up to you. In general for ease of plotting, we say that everyone can understand one another; however, if you want to be creative and say there is a language barrier between your character and another, that is fine. Staff is here to keep peace, not to dictate every part of your roleplay.
- Behave in the Shoutbox. Simple, yeah? No starting arguments or anything immature/stupid like that. You're allowed to tell someone when you have replied to them there as well, but it's preferred you PM them, or the both of you bookmark your thread so you actually get a notification when it happens.
- Default avatar is 150x150. Large avatar is 200x300.
- We work on a three strike system- two warnings and then the last time, you're out; however, one may be kicked out for a single, very severe offense.
- Rules are subject to change and the roleplay will be notified when this happens.
