It was another normal day in the Watterson household- as normal as it got, anyway. In fact everything was going so smoothly that Anais had already concluded that something simply had to go wrong soon. It was impossible that an entire twenty-four hours would go without event. She sat at the dinner table eyeing her brothers as they talked about their school day with the usual chatty enthusiasm, Darwin of course moreso. But still something wasn't.. right. It just wasn't, and it bothered Anais to no end when she didn't have something completely figured out. It was a fun game of 'Try to Predict the Disaster' earlier, but now the tension had grown and she seemed to be the only one who could feel it. "Sweetie, you haven't even touched your dinner." The girl blinked and looked to her mother, and then her plate, and back again before feigning a tone just light enough to not draw too much concern before nudging her plate away. "I'm just not feeling too good, mom. I think I'm gonna go lay down." Her father immediately took her plate, and there was no going back on that word now.
Once out of her seat, Anais took to investigating. She had to be careful, she couldn't run around like nothing and be the victim of that.. whatever was going to happen. Usually Gumball took the brunt of it all, but there was a few times fate had decided to throw some unfortunate circumstances her way as well.
"Now let's see.." Nothing in the living room. Nothing in the bathrooms. Nothing in the bedrooms. The little girl sighed and set her paws on her hips with an expression of annoyance and contemplation. No, this wasn't right. It wasn't right at all. "It's just not possible that nothing's gone wrong yet." She entered Darwin and Gumball's room once again and started to look over the area once again; if there was to be clues of the impending disaster, it would have to be in the boys' room. Just as Anais was about to give up, a glimmer at the window caught her attention and she rushed over. "Aha!.. Oh." Nothing. Just a shooting star- a piece of rock burning up in the earth's atmosphere. There was nothing at all unusual about that.. Another sigh. She could use a clue, not a stupid over-used expression right now. "I wish I knew what the heck was going on around here."
Due to Anais's very high IQ and being the smartest person in her world, I figure as a human she would be pretty beyond the age of an extremely young child realistically. She's kept the same mentality, but physically looks about fifteen.
